PTAS 1210 - Functional Anatomy and Kinesiology for the PTA |
Prerequisite: admission to Physical Therapist Assistant program, BIOL 2210, HLTH 1215.
This course includes the application of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology to the practice of physical therapy. Students will be introduced to manual muscle testing, range of motion measurements, and special tests of the spine and extremities used in physical therapy practice.
