| MUSC 2730 - Lakeland Civic Flute Choir |

This course provides students with the experience of participating in a community-service flute performance group sponsored by Lakeland. The course places emphasis on flute ensemble literature from various historical periods and on the musical development of the individual. At least two years of high school-level flute performance is recommended prior to joining the flute choir, and placement in the ensemble will be determined by audition during or before the first rehearsal as determined by the director. Students may take this course up to four times for credit.
