HUMX 1902 - World Mythology |
This course introduces students to the nature of myth, exploring how cultures use traditional narratives to define their world and affirm shared values. Though the myths of various civilizations (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Norse, etc.) will be studied, the course will emphasize common elements of mythological structures and how they continue to shape contemporary culture.
