Prerequisite: placement into ENGL 1110 or placement into ENGL 1111. This course provides an overview of the principles and core competencies of professional practice as a social work assistant. Students will explore the diverse career options available in the field of human services and evaluate the match of their interests and skills with the realities and requirements of the field.
