CRMJ 1230 - Forensics/Crime Scene Invest |
Prerequisite: CRMJ 1110.
This course introduces students to the history, foundations, disciplines, and specialties of the forensic science field. Students will learn the ethical and legal process of crime scene investigation, traditional and computer-based evidence collection, and their impact on the components of the criminal justice system. The course also introduces students to career opportunities and practical applications in the civilian and government fields.
