MATH 1890 - Finite Mathematics
Prerequisite: MATH 1650 or permission of instructor. This course explores finite mathematics as applied to business, social sciences, and life sciences. Topics include linear systems of equations, Gauss-Jordan, matrices, matrix algebra, Leontief Input-Output analysis, linear programming, simplex method, mathematics of finance, probability, statistics, random variables, binomial and normal distributions, Markov chains, and game theory. Student must supply a graphing calculator.
